I'm Chantal Harris, a South African street and documentary photographer currently based in Tbilisi, Georgia, and soon relocating to Hong Kong.
My photography is a journey of introspection and self-reflection, shaped by self-taught practice. It explores themes of time, memory, solitude and mortality. Like fragments of a dream, I capture seemingly small, insignificant moments of life - quiet beauty found in sunlight, shadow and the passage of time.
Photography is my meditation. I see parts of myself in others, recognising shared emotions, appreciating the beauty in those fleeting, unguarded moments.
